Semi Outdoor Bathroom Inspo
In the world of construction, the bathroom is certainly a very important part to consider in the design and interior process. With the right design selection, bathing which usually makes us lazy, can be a time that we really look forward to for me time after a full day of activities.
The atmosphere of the outdoor bathroom is often the choice of consumers to feel a comfortable atmosphere in relieving fatigue, and the feeling of being on vacation in a villa that makes this bathroom a trend today.
Imagine yourself stepping into this bathroom. Fresh air greets your skin, the aroma of natural wood fills your sense of smell, and soft sunlight caresses your face. Every detail in this room is designed to create an unforgettable bathing experience, an escape from routine, a moment to rejuvenate the body and soul
Here is one of the designs from our architect, where this bathroom has a semi-open concept, the area (shower) does not have a roof, but the toilet and sink areas are still protected. This gives the impression of being spacious and at one with nature, but still maintains privacy.
Let's see the explanation below!!!
Key Elements:
- Open Shower Area: The roofless shower area is the main focus. The shower walls are covered with gray ceramic tiles that match the floor. The shower floor with small stones serves as a foothold and helps with drainage.
- Toilet and Washbasin Area: This area is under the roof and has walls covered with cream-colored ceramic tiles. The white toilet seat and hanging washbasin with wooden table give a modern and concise impression. The rectangular mirror with lights behind it provides sufficient lighting.
- Wooden Roof: The wooden roof with gaps provides protection from direct sunlight and rain, but still allows good air circulation.
- Lighting: Natural lighting from the gaps in the roof and the lights behind the mirror provide sufficient lighting.
Advantages of Open Bathrooms:
- Spacious and Fresh Impression: The open concept gives a spacious and refreshing impression, especially for small bathrooms.
- Natural Lighting: Abundant natural lighting reduces the need for lamps during the day.
- Good Air Circulation: Good air circulation prevents moisture and mold growth.
- Natural Feel: The touch of natural elements such as wooden roofs and rocks provides a relaxing feel.
Considerations:
- Privacy: The level of privacy needs to be considered, especially if the bathroom faces a public area or neighbors.
- Weather: Open bathrooms may be less comfortable during extreme weather such as heavy rain or cold temperatures.
- Maintenance: Open areas are more susceptible to dirt and dust, so they require more frequent maintenance.
